Week 6
Have you ever had those times when it feels like everything wants to pull you off of your goals? The holidays are doing that to me right now. We just ended one of the biggest food holidays of the year – Thanksgiving. We did pretty good with it though. We had turkey, green beans and sweet potatoes. Not too bad. Then came the travels. Boy, that was where the real challenges came in. We had a huge snow storm to travel through. Talk about tensions running high.
What can I say? We are still traveling and everywhere we look there are places that challenge even the most disciplined among us. Junk food at every stop along the way. It’s a good thing that we brought healthy snacks with us – or I don’t think I would have been able to resist. Once we get back home, I’ll find out if it made any difference; if I lost any weight or perhaps just maintained my current weight. I’ll let you know.
